Hello, my name is Denise Juvane, I am originally from Mozambique and I have obtained a BSc (Hons) in International Politics and now halfway through my Master in International Relations by the University of Queensland in Australia.

I applied to attend the GSS Understanding Global Governance course because I wanted to attain first hand experience through the field trips provided. Moreover, with the wide array of knowledgable lecturers along the two weeks, I was able to obtain thought provoking information and engage in interesting debates with my peers.

One of the best aspects of attending GSS was meeting people from all over the world who share different ideologies about the world as myself, thus, made an interesting cohort of individuals to spend two weeks with. I was also able to make life long friends and I believe there is no better networking than that.
